Usme is the locality number five in the city of Bogota. It is located in the south east of the city; usme is a town with a significant number of inhabitants: it is divided into seven UPZs which are made up of seventeen hundred and twenty neighborhoods and villages. Its climate is quite cold due to its proximity to the moor. It is a town rich in water sources, agriculture and livestock being these its main influential in the economy; usme is characterized by its tranquility, varied, personal quality, biodiversity of fauna and flora, in conclusion is an excellent place for tourism.

Usme can be performed in sports and recreational activities such as: you can hike for its beautiful green areas as ecological trails, nature parks and forest reserves. You can organize family outings in rivers, streams or other water sources, can also play sports like paintball thanks to appropriate scenarios for this sport, in usme you can enjoy various culinary delights such as chicha of maize, masato rice, chopped and some tolimenses dishes that have been included in this cuisine.

Moreover, in usme you can not do activities like: you can not fly because there is not an airport in this town; you can not go to a mall, since there are none in the locality.

USME and GIRARDOT.

Usme is larger than the city of Girardot town, usme is one of the coldest cities in Cundinamarca; this town has a larger population than the city of Girardot. Girardot although it is a city with warm and characterized by its tourist sites usme provides greater diversity of tourist and recreational places climate.

In usme because of its large population there is a greater variety of cultures, while in the city of Girardot one culture is handled in general; Girardot because of its warm climate are observed more frequently ice cream shops and outlets moisturisers, unlike usme.
